New patient acupuncture change

At the end of your new patient acupuncture appointment, your practitioner will give you a recommended course of treatment. Together, you can discuss a treatment plan that best fits your needs.

  • Acupuncture

    • Acupuncture $100
      This is a follow-up acupuncture appointment for existing patients. It is 1 hour in length. In addition to acupuncture, this session may also include moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and/or tui na. 
    • Extended Acupuncture $130
      This is a longer acupuncture appointment for previously established acupuncture patients.  Extra time allows more extensive conversation and/or time on the treatment table.
    • Children's acupuncture $60
      This visit is for children aged 12 and under. It is 30 minutes in length, and may include needling, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and/or tui na. We don’t always use needles in children’s appointments, especially if they’re scared of needles. We have other ways of stimulating acupoints, such as the tuning fork and acupressure.
    • Cupping session $60
      This half hour of bodywork incorporates moving and stationary glass cups, applied with emollient oils to facilitate a smooth glide over the skin. 

  • Herbal medicine

    • Initial herbal consultation $85
      This is the initial visit as an herbal medicine patient at White Pine. It lasts 1 hour, and includes a thorough review of your primary concerns and your health history. Herbal recommendations will be made for you, based on your individual situation. They may include tablets, tinctures, and/or essential oils.
    • Herbal consultation $60
      This is a follow-up herbal consultation. It lasts 30 minutes, and includes conversation about your ongoing care and response to herbal medicine. Adjustments may be made to your prescriptions to best help your body to continue to change.
